I think I lumped it together with Dardania, since there isn't really space fpr two regions there, and I got the impression that Dardania was more powerfuland important. For the record, I have Ulpiana as its capital.

That's cool. I'll be honest, I chose the capital of Dardania more for gameplay than historical reasons. I wanted a city that was a little further away from the Macedonians, so I picked one that was about as far as I could get from either Tylis or Bylazora.

Update:
Gaul, Germania, Iberia, Punic Africa and Italy done region-wise. The north-western European textures done texture-wise.
I have made an effort to have every region and settlement in the right place and have all the major tribes represented. I have also added new rebel faction tags and have (where possible) the real leaders of the tribes as there were in Caesar's time (I know its a bit late, but its better than nothing).
Western Germania
Brittany
Massalia
The Marcomanni
Central Gaul
Belgica
Additional preview shots:
The Arverni!
They were the most important tribe in southern Gaul before the coming of the Romans. Luernios was their leader in the third century BC, during that time period. Vercingetorix was of the Arverni tribe.
Rebels pack a punch now! (the peasant unit card will go, BTW)
And finally:
The Regions!
If you're wondering where I got the German place names from, you are right to wonder. Most people are given the impression that the Germans didn't have settlements, and it certainly is true that they didn't have any large ones like even those found in Gaul, and I have reflected that by dropping their population and their base farm rate. However, Ptolemy, the Greek geographer (not to be confused with the Ptolemaic rulers) wrote down the names and locations of German "cities" (most likely towns visisted by merchants). I have used those, since I consider them better than "Campus [Tribe]"
Any comments?

Anyway... I like colors on the campaign map. Very beautiful colors.
You make these rebel factions to real factions?
Thanks!
No, the rebels remain rebels, unfortunately. All I have done is give them the proper names and troops to recruit (no more Cappadocians in Parthia and Saka on the Indus). I have also given them large armies, so they last longer.
