Fool or not, point is that we never had one day without war in our history. Not a single one. Now, can he organize that one in some form of holiday - very very hard task.

I doubt it since that would require a level of infrastructure and cooperation that simply does not exist.

What a fool.

Maybe even a fool, but give us more such fools and the world would be much better.

By the way - it took him 10 years of his life but he achieved 1 day of peace and probably something more (but we will see in the future).

A noble wish, but I hardly doubt it can actually be done, especially even powerful organization like Church had to twist their teaching in order to suit human being's violent nature.
