Try a migration campaign.

It requires a bit of editing the save, and selling off of provinces to some other nations, but it's really fun.

I've just played a Novgorod campaign where I colonized Florida, edited Seminole to be my capital and sold all my old provinces to Muscovy. It really brings life back into the game.

Start as France.Release all your vassals,cancel vassalisation with them.Save,open then do the same for Burgundy.Save,open again.Now you can really have a feudal europe.
