@ 5:18, do AMD chips also accept American Express? Good work.

Intel has the pins on the actually socket which has been the case since the introduction of socket 775 in 2004 when they launch the disastrous Prescott line (it's fitting that they were called 'Prescott', you have to be British to know why though). Prior to that Intel used the same system as AMD currently does and their last chipset that used it was socket 478.

Question. Do you really need those anti-static wrist bands?? What are the chances of you ing up mobos if your NOT standing on carpet? Also, do you have to touch the case while handling mobos(to prevent static)?

Anti-static bands are effective yet not essential, I built my 2 computers on a carpet floor yet I built them on the anti-static wrap that the mobo came in, and occasionally I would touch my case to be sure I was grounded. Those anti-static bags come in handy (and are freeee)

Sounds like a plan! The video's are all made, it's just taking forever to get them all on the internet because of my internet speed, I'm getting new internet next Friday so it should be smooth sailing from there.

Anti-static wrist bands are beneficial. Get 'em if you can. Otherwise, what you want to do is install the into the power supply into the case first and then plug it into a power socket (preferably a surge protector). Then, make sure the power supply is switched off. Now, touch a non-painted part of your case regularly to discharge static electricity in your body. You also want to wear a minimum of clothing and try not to yawn whilst handling any components.

Even if you do shock your components, chances are they will still function perfectly afterwords. The risk is minimal and some people call the risk a myth, which may be quite true. I've shocked some components before without issues.
