    Default I need a historian!

If anyone out there is a historian (or just someone knowledgable), I'd like some info on certain aspects of history between 1665ish and 1667ish. More specifically the second anglo-dutch war, aswell as some things about the british military at the time.

Its for a book I'm sort of writing, more of an idea that I'm jotting stuff down for. If I can find the right info though it could all come together.

Anyways, if you think you could help PM me or reply on here.

    Thanks.

I've got just the book for you, my friend: Samuel Pepys' Diary. This is the diary of Samuel Pepys, a well-to do and prominent man, who kept his diary from 1660 to 1669. He even was Chief Secretary to the Admiralty and his diary entries tell us about the Anglo-Dutch war, as well as about his private life, the black plague, Charles II... This is one of the best primary historical sources ever.

Pepys' diary is THE source for the timeframe you're asking about!
