Default HRE's colour on the campaign map ...

    Hi everyone.
I've just installed the 6th version of DLV and started a game as the Holy Roman Empire. The problem is that in this small window in the left bottom corner there is no colour of my faction (black that is ...).
It seems only fragmenteric - it appears only on this part of my region which i can see. The rest is GONE.
I didn't notice this problem with other nations so ... please help!

    Thanks a lot, Karrosa

I've experienced this too, I guess the faded black color just dissapears on the background....
I don't have this problem with other factions. There shouldn't be to hard to edit this though I don't know which file to edit.

Yeah I agree, I even zoom in, and still.... not there.
Thorolf was thus armed. Then Thorolf became so furious that he cast his shield on his back, and, grasping his halberd with both hands, bounded forward dealing cut and thrust on either side. Men sprang away from him both ways, but he slew many. Thus he cleared the way forward to earl Hring's standard, and then nothing could stop him. He slew the man who bore the earl's standard, and cut down the standard-pole. After that he lunged with his halberd at the earl's breast, driving it right through mail and body, so that it came out at the shoulders; and he lifted him up on the halberd over his head, and planted the butt-end in the ground. There on the weapon the earl breathed out his life in sight of all, both friends and foes. [...] 53, Egil's Saga
I must tell you here of some amusing tricks the Comte d'Eu played on us. I had made a sort of house for myself in which my knights and I used to eat, sitting so as to get the light from the door, which, as it happened, faced the Comte d'Eu's quarters. The count, who was a very ingenious fellow, had rigged up a miniature ballistic machine with which he could throw stones into my tent. He would watch us as we were having our meal, adjust his machine to suit the length of our table, and then let fly at us, breaking our pots and glasses.

    To change it...

    DLV/data/descr_sm_factions

Look for the faction you want and the lines starting...

    Code:
    primary_colour
    secondary_colour
The RGB values are the ones to change. Primary colour is the main colour. Secondary colour is the border colour. All white would be

    Code:
    primary_colour red 256, green 256, blue 256
    secondary_colour red 256, green 256, blue 256

Any sollutions to a how HRE should look like in a Mini mod? Yellow borders, black inside? Some Orange perhaps?

We need someone with historical knowledge of the HRE heraldy shild at the time

It might be nice for someone to do all factions since we don't make use of the secondary colors at all...

repman & I preferred it to be the same colour. The borders looked ugly. It's so simple to do the colours you want though that I would recommend people do it on a personalised basis. The only things to bear in mind is to always back-up the file first and to avoid using a colour that's near to the earth colour on the mini-map (hence the invisibility).
