Can't play DLV Britannia

Hey I just installed dlv britannia and when I go into the game, the text is gone, also there are red rectengular boxes where the city names are. I read through the bug thread but I couldn't unpack Britannia in the tools\unpacker because it keeps coming up with the message "This application has failed to start because MSVCP71p.dll was not found".

Also I was meant to delete a folder in the virtual folder for vista but I don't have anything inside the folder(yes i am showing hidden files).

Can anyone help me?
I'm sorry for not posting this in the bug thread but someone posted the exact same problem a week ago with no reply.

dw I fixed it, I renamed shared.xx strategy.xx and battle.xx
for shared.bak strategy.bak and battle.bak

Works fine
