Open ETW/data/local_en.pack with FPM and export localisation_loc as TSV. Use a spread sheet to open TSV or use Locolisation editor. You need to find the entry faction_screen_name_ xxxx (where xxxx is the name of faction you want to change). In the second column should be the entry Xxxxx. That is what you have to change only (not faction_screen_name_ xxxx).

You also need to change the adjective for the faction.

nothing happens when i try to open the localisation.loc file with the localisation manager. i click file, then open, then i select the localisation.loc and click open and it acts like somethings happening for a few seconds, then nothing. am i missing somthing here?

Open the _loc file with PFM and extract it (right click). The manual way is this: From PFM export as TSV (the button on top right window). Open TSV with a spread sheet, select all and short it by column A. Now you have it in alphabetical order and it is easy to find the lines and make the changes as above said. Open again PFM and import TSV.
