Unit Banners and Morale

First off, I haven't really looked your units, so I'm asuming they have banner carriers. Now, would it be possible to make a unit have a large morale loss if their banner falls? I know that battle standards were important for rallying and directing a general's troops, so I think this would be interesting to implement. Just thought I'd share a idea.

On a personal note, I just want to make it known that their have been numerous mods that have died because thier ambitions, and development times, were too high. So, knowing that DotS has been in develpment for such a long time, but is still very much alive, is a great thing.

Take as much time as you guys need, DotS team. This mod will be beautiful, and we all appreciate the effort you all are putting forth.

Does'nt the banner automatically get passed to another man in that unit once the present banner holder is killed?
I could be mistaken, and there might be a way to change this but i'm pretty sure thats what happens.

It's a good idea, but I don't think it's possible.

Yeah it does, but you can also create a standard bearer who is like an officer.

you can turn off the big floaty standards, and since losing the general causes a massive hit to morale, could that spread to other soldiers, to? me-thought that knights dying off would also cause problems
