install with gold and steam

hello I installed the mod 2.0, into my mods folder in kingdom.

like I use to do with mods under steam.

but when I enter the game under campaign and start with a faction it CTD.

any ideas ?

did I install it in the wrong folder ?

It seems like you didn't add all files. There are strat model files which gets installed in Vanilla folder. Without them it will crash on campaign start.
I don't know how the stem folder work, maybe someone else will be able to help out how to complete the install. But in the nutshell, that seems to be the problem

the two links is only if you can't get the game to launch.

I found a way around that.

but do you know if I put it in the right folder ? should I take medievel 2 instead of the mod folder ?

According to the instructions it should be M2TW folder. Installer will place the mod in 'mods' folder anyway, but by choosing 'mods' by yourself you could have break installation structure.

okey tried again.

installed it in medievel 2 folder.

but it was totally misplaced, because I needed it in the mod folder.

anyway just copy paste it in the mod folder. and now its starts

but there is no tekst in the game.

and by tekst I mean on the campaign map and when you click on a unit.

Damn, I'm not in home now, so I can't check what structure should BC Kingdoms Edition have.
Could you unpack it into some independent folder (f.e. on your desktop)? Just to see, what structure does it have, and then copy&paste it in appropiate places... I think some files of your installation are missing now...

Well, yes, that's what I would do if I had the same problem. Install it outside M2TW folder, check the placement of the files, check if it is the same in your current installation, and if not - correct it. Then try if it works. If yes - then remove additional installment.
