Default there is no total war!!!!!!

There is no any war!!! i've started with Kievan Rus, Nivgorod, France using the DLV AI i played until turn ~100. I haven't been attacked by any other factions. Rebels are not attacking!!!!! even when they are near my almost empty cities!!!!!
i choose all scritps exept point system.

when i played DLV earlier versions (<6) AI was very hard!!! but after 6.0, 6.1 AI not attacks.

Plus other factions haven't really expanded all to much..

please don't write me that they will attack me later!

Wait till 1200.... Thats when all hell breaks loose. The economy is so important in the game now that you need to build up! or you could always start a war but you'll most likely lose

i'll not lose because AI will not attack!

That really sucks, Play. You playing with my BB minimod at all? Just wondering cos I never see this super passive behaviour you're describing. At some point someone told me they installed BB and all of a sudden the AI got aggressive... frankly I don't understand how my BB would affect this. Maybe it's worth a shot

once l played with BB, but thee was no changes in AI behavior. only once AI attacked my city but no more. AI collected troops in its cities but not moveing. I thought AI must be evil independently there is BB or not.
I played new game many times and always AI was passive

What scripts are you using? If you choose the total war option war breaks out at 1200 and then twenty years later with the Dark Ages event. It can't be avoided, at least in all the games that I've played lately.

I always go for the DLV civ-like, 'slow buildup' option and then get attacked before 1200 by at least one nation.

I can't remember a campaign I've had where the AI hasn't attacked me before 1200...

It's rare I use savegames. I keep autosave on and then save when I leave or before doing something stupidly fun. The reason I mention it is because the AI often changes it's mind when you reload a savegame. A besieging army might get new orders, etc. so I think an attack by an AI faction can be ruined by loading a savegame.

Something I saw Konny mention in the modding forum, he suggests that having 'show AI movement' enabled can help the AI and make it more aggressive. I have not verified this and I have never used that option before.

Also worth a mention is that you can view the whole map using 'toggle_fow 1' in the console. Using that cheat you can take a look at what the AI factions are doing and get a better idea of how aggressive they are really being.

Eh, this has happened to me before previously when I had a campaign set up as Ireland. (I think)
Sometimes this stuff just happens. A new campaign should fix it up entirely and you'll have all the trouble you can deal with.
Hell this has even happened to me in Vanilla Total War and it's predecessors, sometimes you just gotta remember the ol' motto "crap happens."
Just go on a giant rampage and if it's really getting that bad, take the matter into your own hands. Start a war with a faction, ally one close to it. Give the ally you just made a boat load of money in tributes, and see where it goes and if they start becoming aggressive. If that doesn't work, try killing the pope with a low level assassin, only for him to be killed (Of course. If he manages to kill him, just get the next newbie up to bat... Can't have an angry pope if he's dead can you?) or other methods of harassment, and wait for the eventual storm of crusades from Christian Europe. Perhaps you could even take out rebel settlements and donate them to others if you're feeling particularly bored.

I've found sometimes a Campaign will be very quiet indeed...

What I do when I start a new one is I toggle_fow for 5-10 turns to make sure there is lots of activity from the AI. This doesn't particularly mean military activity but if diplomats, merchants and the existing armies are pottering about then things should be fine. If not much is happening then its best to reroll.

By checking that I have loaded an 'active' campaign I am usually attacked before I have conquered all of the local rebel settlements. Sometimes I haven't been attacked by the time I'm done but when I declare war on an actual faction soon after. They resist fiercely indeed.

    This is with Civ-Style AI.

In the open beta If you choose the "total war" at the beginning, all hell breaks loose on the first turn.

after first turn in openbeta(like in 6.1) I am at war almost with all, but AI is not attacking. it's a strange or quiet war.

Please report it in the beta thread, that's where feedback on the beta should go.

I just read this whole thread for the heck of it and not once did you post what difficulty you were playing at.

Anything below very hard campaign difficulty will result in:

rebels NOT attacking: which is your case.
    AI factions not doing squat
AI with less money than usual; they will just sit around with full stacks after you reload a game and not use them at all... not to mention they will probaly just idle around with those same full stacks and not attack either rebel or enemy settlements in fear of staying in the negative of money, and retaliation from other factions.

    Hope this helps.

Why AI fear to stay without money? - i enabled AI money support script.
But at other people AI don't fear to stay without money and attack. and rebel attack
