CTD upon loading a saved game

For some reason, all of my saved games (Roma, Quicksave, Autosave) have been "corrupted" to produce CTD when I try to load them (the crash happens when the bar fully fills up).

Afterwards I tried reinstalling and that, and I tried to start a new campaign game with Macedonia, which works fine, and it saves and loads fine, so I've uploaded my 3 Rome save files and hopefully you guys can figure out what's wrong.

Yes, that happens sometimes. Are you playing EB 1.1 or 1.2? Because I haven't heard this happen since EB 1.1.

Some say it had to do with the client ruler system in EB 1.1.
Anyway, it is also possible that this is just another RTW bug, like the memory leak and such...

The best way to avoid this is to have multiple save games. I save every year and keep ten years of save games, then I delete the oldest every time I save a new year.

I am playing 1.2, but I don't see how multiple saves will help since all 3 of my saves were corrupted I would expect them all to be corrupted even if there's 10.

Is there no way of recovering it?

Not as far as I know.

And it helps with me, I used to have those three corrupted save games every 2 months or so - 5 campaigns down the drain. Now that I use multiple save games, I'm playing for more than a year without corrupted save games.

I see, so exactly and only 3 games get corrupted at a time?

That I don't know.
I can only say that someone said the same thing to me as I'm saying to you now when I had corrupt save games. And it helped for me, so...
