I've played the first custom battle (against Macedon) and have saved the replay. I took a number of screenies last week (which resulted in some bug reports) and will try and get a set of screens later on today (after the F1 race at Monza). I will then try and set up a battle against Pontus to use different units (I had a fair mix for the first battle).
I'll mess around with the grass draw distance (increasing it) which I know will slow down the replay. I'll post some screens here and attach them all (1920x1200) in a ZIP or RAR file.

Great - I've updated the grass on the semi-arid climate so it should look somewhat better.
If you could show all the Pergamon units from nearly one angle from the front that'd be great...and then some more global shots.
TBH I think we could probably show some different grasses in one shot....what do you think? Just show them and see whether people notice.
OK, I didn't manage to do what I wanted to this afternoon. I guess if the grass has been re-done then that's just as well......
I will run a few custom battles to show all the units in the roster from the starting settlements (it will take a few battles to do so). I know that as the empire expands there can be some regional units - I would presume these are not faction specific?
I was just going to use the grass from the custom location that I found in some of the battles I fought in the campaign - I did find one or two that were rolling hills that did not really give much of an advantage.
I did order a new Dell 3008WFP so I will have 2560x1600 resolution in the future (bizarrly Alienware will deliver it for less than Dell can). I think I really need my latest PC to power it though (so I attempted to chase the manufacturers of that - I was told on the 26th August that it was either the silent cooler not cooling enough or a fault in the motherboard).

I could do a few units if you want to split the burden Brusilov?

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Those guys in the phalanx...they're Pergamon units, right?
<<Un collègue; un ami.>>
No, no, sorry. I meant the ones in the testudo, they're a Pergamon home unit, right?
<<Un collègue; un ami.>>
Why not - it's going to be a few days before I can get my act together. I have an inspection of my flat later in the week and that should be my priority at the moment (I have a lot of accumulated possessions - some people would call them something else)..... A big tidy up is in order as I may be able to find things again......
They are the Pergamum Thorakitai Argyraspides and are recruited at the highest level of barracks. Along with the Macairaphoroi and Macairaphoroi Epilektoi are the only units I've fond (so far) that do testudo.

You like the Phalangites? I prefer replacing them with hoplites myself
And alright, sounds good. Have you done any yet, or should I start from the beginning?

I can get great quality if I really push my system. It'll lag, but it's not like the battle means anything to me other than as a way to get screen shots.
Also, for the buildings, you want .tga's, right? I've got about 10 done.

Alrighty, I'll post those up later tonight or tomorrow night, depending on when I feel like switching to 7 (which takes forever). Also, I can't seem to get -movie_cam to work with the RS II shortcut. Any reasons why?
<<Un collègue; un ami.>>
EDIT: I lied, it's working now. I think it's because on 7 you have to put it on the folder, and in Vista (what I'm using now) on the shortcut.
