Default Necessary components for this mod

Okay, just got Kingdoms today, totally overwhelmed with the new campaigns (I now remember what it was like to first play MTW or RTW all those years ago...). Also downloaed SS 6.1. Now, I only installed the core files for the 6.1 patch on top of 6.0, none of the optionals. Does that matter? I am considering having some of the optionals to make the game a lot harder, but did I need them with 6.1, or can I get them separately and put them on top?

Also...looked at the FAQ, and the main 6.1 thread is huge...is this mod modfoldered? I mean, fully modfoldered? It seems to have at least added files into my vanilla data folder...

    1. If the both parts of 6.0 and the patch are in the same directory, then you're done.
    2. I think yes (I don't completely understand what means "modfoldered", but have a clue on it)

Modfoldered - it installs in it's own folder, doesn't overwrite core vanilla files (if it did that, then a full reinstall would be necessary when uninstalling the mod, and other mods wouldn't work either, modfoldered or not).

Thanks a lot. And in that case (as it has been mentioned), it is modfoldered.

    It installs into mods\Stainless_Steel_6
(if it did that, then a full reinstall would be necessary when uninstalling the mod, and other mods wouldn't work either, modfoldered or not).
SS6.1 works alongside with Broken Crescent, DLV6.1, all kingdoms campaigns and more mods I'm to lazy to type. So thats not an issue.

Thanks. I tried vanilla MTW multiplayer last night, and that worked, so...question answered.

I also feel I should inform you of the mod TATW. Third Age Total War is set in the Lord of the Rings universe and is also made by King Kong. So if your a fan of LOTR you should download it, anything made by King Kond is going to be awesome. Yes it is also mod folderd.
The AI is like a retarded overwieght child. He realy want all those fries, he just does not know how to get them. http://img1.coolspacetricks.com/imag...unny/81776.gif
