I think the mumakil in the game are too small....here this link:
http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Mumak
There is written they are between 50 and 100 feet high(15 to 30 meters)
Could anybody please mod them a bit taller????![]()

Didn't you already made a thread like this a week ago?
Yeah, I also got a strong sense of deja vu upon entering this thread. The first one was actually about reskinning Mumakils while this one's about their size. So ummm, they're different, I guess...

Yes, they seem a bit squeezed... so taller would be fine
And some more men in the tower too!
I am also having some sort of deja-vu here...
Maybe the time has come to hear on all those 'suggestions' and 'mod' a few more new variations of the mumak in different sizes, colors, sexes etc.
there has been a thread on there size already that deeply went into this but do remember the mechanics of there size theyare already a little problematic in that they will fit through gates which looks wierd they can only be selected low on the murmakill which will only get harder if made larger there is a number of problems with the idea of larger (modified animations etc etc etc )
you have to draw a line somewhere there already largish sure they could be bigger but would i really add any more to the game ?? they look pretty cool now and work effectively i would rather see the modders of TATW spend there time in more needed areas than revisit a working thing for a small cosmetic fix ( fixing there death animation would IMHO come before making them larger which i see no practical use for other than personal taste . But hey thats just my 2 cents worth every one has there opinion its important to you so lets hear why![]()
That site seems to a large degree based on the films (like that stuff about bamboo sticks on the legs), which wouldn't be so bad if they would tell it "Mumakil in the films" and not present is as lore facts.
I'm pretty sure that there is nowhere in LOTR an exact indication of their size (though they are of course decribed with all attributes of bigness).

The book describes them as moving houses, which is still debatable on size, but the movies' mumakil are too big I think, otherwise they would be described as moving towers ro something. The movie mumakil are much bigger than a house.

I live in a little house, therefore Mumakil are little ^^
The movie mumak varies in size... when the mumak charges the horsemen seem to be within reach of the ankle. so how could eowyn hit it on the hip (or something)???!!![]()
I think she chopped its tendons.
Irrelevant! The Mumakil are fine as they are I think.
frankly the mumaks are too big to practical in gaming terms; standard rtw elephants are just about reasonably sized, they are still hard to control, however, but the mumaks are a whole different story, too big to properly deploy on micro terrain features, perhaps even macro features, and are very ungainly, having the sprite size of a large hill but the apparent animating frame close to a standard elephant unit. Also, would it be possible for Harad to have smaller elephant units?
The Duke of Dunwich and surrounding fiefdom
For any who are interested by my FF on occurrences in Rhun and beyond; I have begun a new project (not because the old one is finished, just opening more room for ideas) about one of the minor characters, Rankal. It is in the Third Age AAR index and here is the link http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=376994
Or that in lore they were actually smaller - it doesn't matter whether or not they were! Just don't start investigating it and assume the movie is wrong again.
I don't think they should get much bigger, maybe a little, but I think the proportions are wrong. They should have much longer, thinner tusks and longer legs.
