BI-RTRPE opens RTRPE

it's quite simple.
i installed PE1.9 (note: setup told me in a popup it needed the Rome1.5 or the BI1.6 version to install but i know i had just installed the 1.6 patch) and RTR works like a charm.
but when i wanted to try the modified BI it just opened the 'normal' Rome game!

ive checked my BI-RTRPE icon on my desktop but it does refer to RomeTW-BI.exe just like it should

can someone help me out here?

Have a look at the properties of the PE shortcut. What does it say? Post the contents here.

RTRPE is the same game if you start it with the Bi shortcut. You`re not expecting a BI timeframe campaign with late antiquity units, are you?

Thats exactly what it should do.

Basically what it will do is just use several BI features like units been able to swim across rivers.
