M2TW 1.2 problem

I know it's not the place where i need to put this topic but i really didn't know where i need to put this topic ... ok ....so i have some problems with the medieval 2 total war...i install the m2tw and after i put the patch 1.1 .... after i'm downloading the 1.2 patch and where i need to install the patch his saying "Error : Unknown . The update cannot continued " ...... after this i'm unistalling the m2tw and installing him again ..... after this i install directly ( without enter the game ) patch 1.2 and he saying the same thing "Error : Unknown . The update cannot continued " ..... what can i do ?? ( !!! sorry for my english !!! )

Your english is bad, though even worse is the layout of your post. ^^

Do the following:

1.Install Medieval 2 Total War.
2.Install at least one Medieval 2 Total War Kingdoms campaign.
3.Install the first part of Version 1.0 of the mod.
4.Install the second part of Version 1.0 of the mod.
5.Install Version 1.1 of the mod.
6.Install Version 1.2 of the mod.

You first have to have Medieval 2 installed + one Kingdoms campaign. Then you install the mod:
1.0 Part 1
1.0 Part 2
1.1
1.2

it's not the third age mod ...it's the official update....1.1 , 1.2 , 1.3 .....i need to install this updates to put after kingdoms and 1.5 and Third age total war .....third age it's not the problem....the official update 1.2 it's the problem

Kingdoms is already enough
Kingdoms is version 1.4 and you don't need 1.5, I play fine without it

No need to write in caps, we won`t udnerstand you any better..

So.. You need to install the 1.2 patch? You downloaded it? And when you install, you get that error? Then try downloading the patch again, and from an different source.

Well I had this problem, but then when I installed Kingdoms, it automaticly upgrided game with all patches!
Only I can't play vanilla Medieval anymore!

i've been trying maybe 3 source : softpedia , gamershell , computergames ..... tonight i'm gonna try more sources ....thx

Then you are doing somewhat wrong, that we can`t comprehend. Might i ask whether you are using an original Medieval 2 Game?

Just follow this

1 : Install Medieval 2 Total War update to latest patch. {which is the 1.3}
2 : Install Kingdoms " just one campaine is needed" make sure it is the 1.5 if not update to the 1.5
3 : Install The Third Age part 1 & part 2 to in Medieval 2 Total War main directory will look something like this 'Programs/SEGA/Medieval II Total War'
4 : Install The Third Age Patch 1.1 in same directory as the mod.
5 : Install The Third Age Patch 1.2 in same directory as the mod.
6 : Play game by hitting desktop icon "looks like the Ring"

right......just 1.2 update.....last time when i play third age total war.....he was working....now....i really didn't know what i need to do....and i didn't have the original medieval 2 total war

Eug do the following:
1. Install M2TW
2. Install Kingdoms
3. Install the 1.5 patch
4. Install TATW.

Do NOT install the 1.2 patch.

4. Install TATW.

Do this. As Muffer said, Kingdoms will update M2:TW to the version you need.
