    Default lessons in RTR

    Hi all,

I’ve been playing rtw since it first came out and only recently tried RTR.
Dear lord,... I wasted my life.

I feel like I wandered in to an entire different game and al the things I used to be so sure about now once again are big question marks.

I noticed almost all troops have high morale stats.
I guess the reason for this is to make the battles longer, which i applaud.

Though it does make me wonder if there are any differences left in morale.
Or is almost every unit in the game as courageous as the more elite units?

Second question, what’s the deal with the temples?
As Rome (did not try any other faction yet) so many and all the mayor temples have the same benefits?

Please don’t interpreted this the wrong way, I'm honestly baffled, a truly great mod.

    tnx in advance.

ps: are there any RTR guides or so online?

The morale has been raised for all units proportionally, so it`s still different among them. The reason why the game reads all of them as excellent morale is that they`re all over the value which he translates into that description. Funny enough, it was one of the first questions I`ve asked when I came across rtrpe years ago.
For the units see this post:

It was originally posted at the rtr forums by the people who worked on the units stats, but the rtr forums went dead so I`ve pasted them here.

The temples generally give the happiness bonus, but they also give different ancillaries so if your character spends his time in a settlement that has a certain temple he`ll get the priest of x ancillary. And those give bonuses to the character who acquires them.
