Wall towers annihilating my men!

I don't know if this is a part of the mod, but the city defensive towers are mowing down my men as they approach and fight on the wall. I can't win any sieges early in the game! I want to reduce the accuracy of these towers, which file do I have to open, and where in the file is the code line i have to modify? Thanks

I believe the file is descr_walls.txt. However I'm work so I can't confirm or give you any specifics until I get home. You might want to check out the Mod Workshop forums as your question might have already come up there

Ok I'm home now. I was a little off. The file you need to edit is descr_projectile.txt in SS\data. Do a search for "tower", hit find a few times until you come across the tower projectile entries. You'll see the accuracy figures for units. I'm pretty sure this is what you need to change but I can't verify it 100%

Ok I seemed to have solved my problem. I had to modify the quality_arrow and elite_arrow files and decrease the accuarcy stats a bit. Additionally I modified the control areas of each tower from 30 to 10, as I noticed enemy units didnt even have to even be near the towers for them to shoot!

Sieges are still very difficult (I lost half my army testing it), but no longer impossible. Thanks for your help!

It would be nice if generals had a trait for attacking walls that made their siege equipment harder to destroy.
