I don't watch the show but my mother and brother are avid followers, so naturally I've sat in for a few minutes here and there.

I don't think the idea of a poll on a such a specific subject is a good idea. Only a very fair percentage of the forummers here will watch the show.
Therefor, the poll lacks the option "Wait, what?"

I'm not really a soap opera kind of guy but years ago I did watch that Australian show "Neighbours".

I remember a local channel here used to air 2-3 episodes a day, 5 days a week and at first I was like "pfft, this is lame", but having nothing better to watch that early in the morning and at night I became an avid viewer.

Neighbours was immense. I used to watch it regularly, then I had actually had to work in the afternoons and stopped. I miss being a carefree student. Also watched it back in the early 90's as a kid, it's basically an institution over here.

Some of my friends even went to see Karl's band live.

Gone downhill a lot last time I saw it.

Soap Operas suck.
