    First of all, congratulations to all moderators and to those who help keeping this place up. It's really tidy and I don't think there is a more thorough place on the web about the Total War series than this one.

    I can't say I came directly to post this topic, because I really did a search. I might have entered the wrong keywords, though.

    In Barbarian Invasion, I''ve added some more names to be used by the Huns. I added them to the names file (the one at Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi\data\text), and to both descr_names and descr_names_lookup (at Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\bi\data), as I've read somewhere else I should do. The names show up in the game, with only one problem: I don't know how to fix the name spacing and position. As it turns out, the names have a long empty space, and whether the units are Warlords or Captains the space between their titles and names is huge.

    Is there any way to fix it?

    In names.txt use (3) tabs and not spaces to separate the internal from the external entries.

    Make sure to keep the tutorials secret also...

    Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.

    I think I should start another thread for this, but I think it would look weird.

    The name problem was solved perfectly, but I have a few doubts about other things. First, adding more names was something I wanted to do because I modified the effects of the trait "Warlord" so that when I use give_trait with one of my Warlords they become just perfect, not even those terrible habits they acquire with age interfere in their governing skills. The problem is that the system name these characters randomly. Adding more names was my attempt to avoid name cloning, for once you use give_trait with one Warlord, you can't use it again with a new Warlord if their names are equal. Is there a way to prevent the system from repeating names?

    Second, and I think this would solve all my issues, even rendering the last question irrelevant: is there something I can do to make new Warlords automatically receive my Warlord 4 trait? I would like this to apply to all family members (potential husbands included) and also to those Warlords that can be recruited at the Great Kings Stables.

    1. No, the game will just pick character names randomly.

    2. Yes, you simply need triggers to cover all possible cases of a new family member. try this:
