small problem

hey guys, I just downloaded 1.0, started up a costum battle, and this is the result:

I can't fight a battle with this!

I'm experiencing the very same problem. Whenever I start a battle, all the division icons etc. are white. I've installed the 1.0 version, the hotfix, the 1.1 patch and the 1.2 patch in that order...not sure what else to do. Does anyone know what's up?

1. You should install the available patches.
2. Maybe try a reinstall. And the hotfix is not needed.

after some messing around, I've found the problem. I had installed the 1.1 and 1.2 patch in the medieval/mods/third_age directory. Simply installing them in the medieval directory will fix the problem.

If you do that the game won't be mod-foldered anymore. When done with installation it should look like this:

Medieval II Total War/mods/Third_Age

have played for some hours now, happily cutting down Saurons minions...everything works very well. Thanks for this awesome mod
