    Default consequences of unlocking factions

I've always wanted to play as one of the native american factions, but I'm always a bit touchy about modding files etc... does it mess up the game? I heard some people had problems when the game got patched and they had to reinstall etc.

It hasn't really messed up with me. Truly, putting mods in with ETW is really easy, its just a matter of swapping out one little file (maybe two) when you want to add or remove a move. You will sometimes have to remove the mod when a patch comes out, but then as soon as they release a mod compatable with that patch, you just put those file(s) in. It's real easy, you may experience some crashes or glitches with a few factions though.

I've never had any problems using an faction unlock mod. Problems tend to occur when people toss a bunch of mods together and their are conflicts.
The extra development time will allow us to finalize and polish Empire, making it the most accomplished and epic of the Total War series." said Kieran Brigden, Studio Communications Manager at The Creative Assembly. "There is a great deal of anticipation around Empire: Total War and we want to ensure that it is the benchmark for strategy games upon its release.

I never really had any problems, in fact most people make it really easy to where the only thing you have to do is move one .pack file to this file and you're done.

The only thing I gotta say is the that Native Americans miss out on alot of things, like the ability to build ships. They also cannot research technology either.

it make sense . would be completly dumb to see a stack of second rate native ship or native rocket launcher crew , or even a native university .

Patriotism... is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.

Well yea I didn't say they should, it's just you'll have to give up alot of things if you play as them.

The units of the Native American's are bland and without much historical accuracy. It makes me sad.

faction unlockers are easy, just download the new startpos.esf, you don't even need to back up, simply when you want to revert to the original you delete it and verify game cache via steam
