Nazi uniform

I'm not sure what it is, but I find the Nazi standard uniform

to be just about the most well formed, stylish and simply GORGEOUS of all the items of clothing on the entire planet!
I mean... It's smooth, soft, well formed, superbly commanding, brilliantly shaped and best colored of all uniforms I've ever seen. I just think it's fantastic.
This doesn't mean I stand for Nazism or that I agree with any of the violent stuff Hitler did (Still love Fanta and VW cars ) but I just find the Uniform shockingly great... Even to the point that I would throw myself at a guy/girl in that uniform

I would buy one myself (changing the swastika obviously, maybe to a nice RAF logo? :3) and wear it to weddings x)

I agree... I would probably but the Socialist rose on it rather than the Swastika.. however does that uniform even have the Hakenkreuz on it?

I agree, it's a nice uniform. I don't know about the puffy pants though.

Haha, except those aren't Brits. Those are United States Marine Uniforms. From left to right the MARPAT digital camoflage, Dress Blue Alpha, Service Alphas and Mess Dress.

@Op, I agree. I find the German uniforms very sharp, even just for their standard infantry. They were classy but also intimidating. Did youou know the SS uniforms were made by Hugo Boss??

Yes, the German military had very smart uniforms. And I don't like the way the U.S. Army has gone. Away from peaked caps, to berets. I'm no fan.

I find the old WWII US Army uniforms much more appealing and snappy then the newer ones.

New stuff is ugly, not to mention they put entirely too much crap on their uniform. So many little trinkets and odds and ends, it's ridiculous.

I wish the US Army would bring back that uniform, the current one is very dull IMO. I mean it had a cross belt. A CROSS BELT!

@OP: For one, the website you got that from, diggerhistory, is awesome. I have it bookmarked because of the various uniforms pics. Especially love the "Thru the Ages" section.

Second, yes the uniforms of Nazi Germany are just plain cool looking. They are the basis for the uniforms of the humans in a science-fiction story I have been writing.

If the Germans got rid of the Nazi imagery on those WW2 uniforms, they should seriously consider putting those uniforms back in to use because they're just the best! How on earth did such an evil government have such good fashion sense?
