Not able to play Campaign

I reinstalled Medieval total war 2 and kingdoms, then installed TATW up to 1.2 patch and I can't play a campaign. I can do custom battles and quick battles but when I try to play a campaign it does back to the main menu.
Anyone know what I did wrong?

uninstall and reinstall. It worked wit me

Did you also install the MTW patch?, after you loaded Kingdoms but before you loaded the mod?.
