    Default No music? How to install music? And Alx?

    Hi - i really liked the last version of this mod i played a year or so ago and i tried installing the new version yesterday on my new laptop but there was no music when i ran it. I tried installing some music mini-mod but that brought up some error message next time i tried to run it.

    Can anyone tell me if there should be music when it installs and what i might be doing wrong in installation if there is? (i installed BI 1.6 then the mod then the 3.4 patch from the sticky on 3.4)

    If there isnt music can anyone tell me how to install music or a music mini-mod without messing things up?
    (the mini-mod i used had a music folder inside the data folder but i noticed the original installation just had dat files for music, no music folder).

    Also is there any way to try running this mod on the alx (Alexander TW )engine (the battle AI seems a bit better on ALX - not sure about campaign AI though)

    P.S I tried copying the music files from my main RTW (BI) installation folder.

    It shows the loading screen map for a minute or so then says sound has failed and then error message saying "
    Script Error in ExRM/data/descry_sounds_units_ambient.txt, at line 6193, column 28.
    Mount type ‘elephant african’ not found.

    I did it very easy...
    When you have another mod installed with the same cultures....use the dsm(descr_sound_music)file and the entire music folder from the other mod,copy and paste it in the Exrm data...voila...music

    Ah right - thanks - could you tell me which mods that have music have the same cultures as RTRPE Extended Realism ?

    The RTR 6.2 music add-on will work, but you'll have to point it at the ExRM folder.

    Thanks Pannonian - i might try Marcus Camillus' mod from the sound of it it should work with Extended too
