Default SHIELD FACTOR FOR MELEE AND MISSILE ATTACK in export_desc_unit

IŽd like to know what is the diference between these, wich are in stat_armour_ex, and the "shield factor" in stat_pri_armour.

    i.e.

    type Hobiguir
    .
    .
    .
    stat_pri_armour 2, 2, 3, leather
    ;stat_armour_ex 2, 3, 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, leather

    tnx!

If you have a look at the top of the descr_unit, check the stat_pri_armour list.

stat_pri_armour Details of the man's defences
    ; armour factor
; defensive skill factor (not used when shot at)
; shield factor (only used for attacks from the front of left)
; sound type when hit = flesh, leather, or metal
Using your example, the bolded one is the shield number (note that a ';' will exclude the rest of that particular line, so that there is no point including that in your listings.)

    stat_pri_armour 2, 2, 3, leather
In this case, the model in Close Combat has 7 defence, and 5 versus range (Defensive skill is ignored at range), and only 3 against ranged attacks from the entities right hand side, and rear.
