Crashing problem...

I'm only having this problem with this game, and its got to the point now where I cant even play..so heres the problem...

I used to be able to play just fine, but after a longish continous game..the monitor would go black..with a "No Signal" then the sound would become distorted in the background and a restart was needed. So that was no big deal, I just figured it was a crash.

But now whenever I load my game, 3 seconds later that happens. Everytime now. Does anyone know why?

Sounds like a hardware problem, probably graphics, make sure all your fans are clear of obstructions and update your graphics drivers. Whats your specs btw?

Intel(R) Core 2 Duo CPU 2.33ghz
2048mb ram
And graphics card is a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS.

I'm 99% sure that my drivers are up to date..havent checked the fans..would it help to turn the speed on them up?

That sounds a lot like overheating problem, in fact maybe already burnt out card... happened to me.
