the -ne has to be outside of the quotes for the path, so the shortcut should look something like "...\Rome-TW.exe" -ne

thanks mate.
i worked it out now, but thanks anyway
I tried it but its not working help, i tryed both -ne and -nm, nothing works. It goes to full screen!
It should be -ne, that was a typo in my previous post, but just look at the rs shortcuts generated by the installer (RS1.5) to see how it should look. There must be a space after the close quote.

If you have RTW set up to the same resolution as your desktop, it will display in fullscreen mode, but you can switch between the game and other applications without having to re-render each time. If you set up RTW for a lower resolution than your desktop, it will display in a normal window.
I only see RTW windowed at the battle screen, but not in the campaign map screen. Anyway to change the resolution of the campaign map lower or higher to fit into window?
