Legion numbers on unit icons

Hello, forum

Like on the screenshot below, does the "yellow" legion number automatically appear on the unit´s picture after recruiting Republican/Imperial legionaries in the respective city ?
Or have I to set up extra graphic options?

Yep, it will be there automatically after the marian reforms.
Actually it's different units due to AOR-recruitment. So the XIV cohorts for example are only recruitable in Capua, and doesn't mix (merge) with cohorts of other numbers.

and also can only be retrained in the same city. Which is logistical fun sometimes when you are campaigning far far north.

I have but in 6.4. Honestly for me the reforms in first place were more of a pain cause suddenly I could not retrain anything and all my experienced troops were useless as all they could do was slowly diminish and die. It takes quite some turns to retrain your entire armed forces.

oh and should you hate Carthage ones - in my 6.4 campaign I met Greek army with 5 (!) units of Armoured elephants with 7 experience (1 gold chevron). I wish you all could see the pain
