I am playing a Romani campaign, not sure of the date - polybian era, anyway. Byzantion is rebelling and I get an irretrievable CTD. Is there a fix for this?
I have tried cancelling all my buildings, but still no luck.

am guessing then the koinon hellenon faction is destroyed, byantion is supposed to revolt to them and of they no longer exist the game CTD, do you own the city?
you can just decrease the population add_population "Byzantion" -4000 or add it to reach the next level of goverment palace and thus reduce the public order loss from cultural difference, or use process_cq "Byzantion" to quickly construct some public order building, also a governer with a high influence level will do nicely.
if you have a high unrest percentage chances are there is an enemy spy in the city, put one of your own spies preferably of high influence tu flush him out...
yes, the koinon have been eliminated, it was the last macedonian city; where do I edit the file that you mention in your post?
thanks for the reply.
