So it's time again! There's a lot to read before I can vote, though. Good luck to everyone!
Read my AARs:
The Legacy of Megas Alexandros (Europa Barbarorum as Arche Seleukeia)
The Prodigal Son (Shogun 2 as Mori)

Voted, good luck all!
One of the few to still have his first avatar in place here on TWC.
I sometimes miss this place you know. This is where my journey began.
A few tough choices, as many of these tales are quite good. My vote is cast, however, and best of luck to all the contestants.
Alea Iacta Est (The Die is Cast) - Gaius Julius Caesar
An army of sheep led by a lion is better than an army of lions led by a sheep - Alexander the Great
We will either find a way, or make one - Hannibal Barca
Can one vote for themselves or does it have to be for someone else?
Voted, good luck to everyone

My vote is cast. I'm sure as hell looking forward to the results!
My choice has been made...tough pick, and stiff competition.
Voted for mine, Rhi Inse Ghall, and the Illyrian Empire.
Game of the Fates

Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.
Voted for mine, Ri Inse Ghall and Ultimus Romanorum. Good luck to all!
A blood-thirsty norse bastard, an opportunistic french-speaking norse bastard, or the King? I think by the laws of fealty there is only one option available.. - sirfiggin
Voted. Also, I apologize to Lysimachos, I was completely unaware u continued the AAR until I have already voted. wish there was a 4th vote available...
That's not a problem at all. I'm in just for fun and it would be great to get back to the eight or nine votes I usually received and perhaps get some new readers, but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't work out.
However, I thank you very much for your enthusiasm and thanks of course go to everyone who choses to vote for my running for more than a year AAR. Btw, iirc, the first competition it took part in was the III, so this is kind of a jubilee
Edit: I decided to give my three votes to some relatively new writers (at least I think they are). Two other AARs I had in mind would most certainly deserve a vote from me too, but I think they are that good, they'll be up on top anyway. You may guess who it is![]()

Haha... as much as I hate the truth you are correct, I think. That's the beauty of the 3vote system I guess - you can vote for yourslef AND vot for other people
Also whoever wrote that AAR about the Timurid Apocalypse (sorry to be rude but I forget your name) , I ALMOST voted for you. Very close. Illyrian Empire was v. close too.
It's great to see lots of new writers and very promising stories coming through, don't you think Anticohos/Sunbird/Redifyou'rereadingthis

No one votes my AAR?
voted for last hope and the legacy of Megas Alexandros
Carl von Dobeln's son
How it all began
Author of the Basileia ton Romaion Series book 1, 2, 3
The work has been done, the trilogy is completed or has it?
Well, I've seen lots of new AAR's come out in the last 2 months, but what I rejoiced the most were the continuation of Ri Inse Ghall and Antiochos' new AAR(s).
I also voted for Ilyrian empire, coz I liked the effort and simplicity it was embued with.
Lysimachos was my old old favorite when I first joined the ranks of AAR community, and his storytelling skill is really shoulder to shoulder with Antiochos', while SoA is a brilliant inventor gives a different emphasis on the intrigue and politics, while the earlier two do more of a direct biography, of sorts, for the main characters.
I believe some of the AARtists, especially these three I spoke of should copyright their work and put it into publishable books, once the work is done.
I for one would be amongst the first few to acquire those books.
To other AAR's and AARtists, I can only say I am sorry for not being acquainted with them earlier. I will do my best and try to take a read on all or most of them, and maybe in future cast a vote for some of them.
Another note to those that get lower vote count: Do not be discouraged, it could just be that your book on the shelf didn't get spotted by a AAR readers, just as it happens with some brilliant books when we visit bookstores.
May the Lady Luck smile favorably on you all![]()
I wonder if there's a chance of me getting a bronze ...![]()
