It's been nearly 5 years but here's a new release that fixes one bug, generally improves things over all and adds name validation, based on Tornnight M2TW validator into Zeus.
Fixed:
- crash mentioned in post #232
Changed:
- improved recruitment line processing for EDB/DRF unit ownership check
- added menu items and keyboard shortcuts to access the various tests
- improved EDU and EDB checking code
- DS names validation improved and made more efficient and then extended to character_record and relative lines
- required .Net Version to 4.7.2 (since its the standard with current versions of Windows 10)
Added:
- implemented names validation and descr_names_lookup.txt generation and validation

Thanks for your great tool and continouous update.
Here some bug or feature problem that need to be reported
1) EDB validation, unit which could be recruit in EDB but no ownership in EDU but have ownership by slave could be recruited by slave with condition of normal faction due to rule of subfaction. Currently this kind of condition report as error in Zeus.
2) UI validation now sensitive to capital letters although RTW not sensitive to different between capital and small letter in file name.

My RomeTW.exe quit working many years ago and this program won't work if it can't find it. I'm working with RTW remastered now because it will run on a modern system. So this program is of no use to me, I wish otherwise but that's progress I guess.
I may have spoke too soon. RTWG might work with this program.

For Lawrence, mercy is a passion, for me, it is merely good manners. You may judge which is the more reliable.
You can always create a file called RomeTW.exe (make sure that you can see file extensions for this to work), it can be an empty file (0 bytes in size) the program doesn't require the actual executable, just a file of the appropriate name so it knows where the data folder is located.
