i thought editing the file preference.cfg could solve my problem, but problem remains!
My med2 strat map warship has still the banner! if i press J button, all banners from map are removed except the ones in the ships!
help!

i think ships use the flags from model_strat/textures/#banner_symbol_x.tga/.dds
to make the strat map banner, go to the alpha channels, and paint it black (all black)
