EB1.2 on BI and Vista.

I have a laptop which runs on Vista and have the Barbarion Invasion pack which if I am correct has up to patch 1.5. I would like to install EB 1.2 but do I have to do anything in particular since it runs on Vista and don't have the 'normal' Rome Total War'?

I use EB for BI on vista. The BI pack is patch 1.6 i believe. You need to install EB 1.1 and then the 1.2 patch to your main RTW folder. Go Here to get the EB for BI patch http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=95664

It includes all fixes for 1.2 and will allow you to run EB 1.2 with BI. Instructions are in the linked thread.

If you are going to run EB on the RTW.exe with BI installed, you don't have to do anything different than if you didn't have BI installed.

If you are using Vista, you might want to install RTW, BI, & EB to a folder outside of the "Program Files" folder.
