When do the Germans use Beskerkers?
While I have been invading Gaul, the Germans have routinely tried to attack me and I have had to build forts to hold them off from advancing into Gaul to help there Barbaric brothers. Anyway, out of all the armies I have encountered, they haven't used Beserkers yet. The strongest unit I have encountered has been the chosen axe men. When do the Germans use Beserkers? I want more of a challenge.

Bellus I wonder how you play, because Germans do pose big threat, unless they are already being overrun by greeks, which means you will get ownd a bit lately

Re: When do the Germans use Beskerkers?
I know they pose a big threat, Im not even focusing on them now since I just want to conquer Gaul and Spain before I deal with them. To hold them off all I do is build 2 forts in the Alps and 2 in Gaul near a Gaulish Town I conquered with one in there territory. It holds them off for about 3 turns per fort, I just put a cheap unit in the fort and leave it there until they over run it. Im Fighting a war on two fronts now since I just took Carthage. I will admit I do use money cheats but only to buy mercenaries, I don't see how it's fully cheating because whenever I use the cheats I have a lot less money on the next turn.
