Shadow Factions

(I dunno where I SHOULD put this so I'm posting it here)
Recently, I've decided to add in Loyalty (and therefore Rebels) to RTW. Mostly so I could have fun watching the SPQR breaking up into Samnite Supporters/Powerful families.
I've heard of some strange CTDs and need to know: What exactly happens when the Shadowed Faction is destroyed by the Shadow Faction?

If the player is the shadowed faction, that's game over. Otherwise, the shadow faction turns into the shadowed faction (and the cycle begins anew). That shouldn't cause any problems as long as both factions have the same ownership for all units. I know of only one CTD somewhat related to loyalty, and it appears even without loyalty, so don't worry about it too much at this point.
