Hey everyone,
What are the moments you can think of when you know you played too much RTW?
Here are some I came up with.
You know you've played too much RTW when:
- You picture Linkedin profiles as unit stat cards
- You wonder whether a heroic victory took place in that café that has a crossed swords trinket on the wall.
- You think of loading screen proverbs when examining real life situations (guilty of this one)
- Everytime you go to the supermarket, you're actually walking a trade route.
- You scream 'Out of moves, sire!' when you checkmate your opponent.
- You build a treehut in your garden to repell the Fog of War.
- You greet your neighbors with: 'Greetings, how can I be of service?'
- Every bridge you walk or drive on is a strategic slaughter point
- You imitate a unit collision move while dancing in a club
- You probably look like a low-res sprite for people more than 500m away.
- You try to upgrade your javelin throwing experience in the garden with bamboo sticks. (guilty of this one)
- Forget the car, you go by horse like real noblemen.
- That campaign where you became the one ruler of the map is probably worth mentioning on your CV.
- The best solution for quelling unrest is putting a lot of stationary military in a place (Ukraine?).
- Better roads bring corruption, aren't you aware of that?
- Your geography teacher wasn't aware that a year only has 2 seasons.
- Your history teacher didn't know it was common for assault forces to stand still as vulnerable targets in front of enemy gates during a siege.
Would love to hear yours!
