Problem with the mod

I just downloaded it, made the shortcut exactly as instructed. Started up the game, saw the Rome medieval opening but then I got A CTD and that happened every single time I did it.

I'm puzzled because that normally doesn't happen. I have other mods installed but they are all mod folder-ed so that shouldn't be a problem.

I can post a print screen of the short cut's properties and the medieval mod folder if needed. but I really wouldn't know where to begin with this

mine looks like this

now besides we have them in different locations the only other thing different is I have this " before %SystemDrive% and after RomeTW.exe

so maybe it should look like this

starts in

"C:\Users\Giuliano\Desktop\PI"

but I am 95% sure its not the 7zip file I put together
I have tested it in many locations and with other mod folded games

If you do not install into this location
C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War

then all you have to do is change the target and start locations
but you already did this so from here I can not be of much help
