    Default Enable unit

    In the unit table, how would I enable the USS Constitution to be recruited as an admiral. None of the values can be edited and what would I need to change. BTW I have the Best Buy edition so the regular Constitution is unlocked.

    First, back up patch.pack and any mod files you are editing, just in case.

    Not sure if this will work, but it should... Get PFM (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=234546) and start a new mod, my_mod.pack (or, if you are trying to edit a mod you already play, you can skip that part). Go to patch.pack, extract units_tables--units in db, then open your mod, and add it.

    Then, get DBEditor, from http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=280329. Go to units_tables. Grey tables are ones that are read-only original ETW files- don't edit those. Instead, there should be a black units table- this is the one you just created in PFM. Go to it. Scroll down to the USS constitution, and in Class (3rd column) change it to naval_admiral. You should now have a USS constitution admiral's flag ship.
