    Default Obama's Brown Shirts?

Not sure on the details here, but the way he's talking is scary as hell.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt2yGzHfy7s

I'm sorry, just as powerful and well-funded as the military? A National Security Force?

    Hmm...
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

Hang him before it's too late. He's clearly a ravenous Nazi-Communist demagogue.

Because only the Americans paying attention (the racist ones) think he's evil.

The vast majority of Americans aren't paying attention.

just answer me why we need to create/fund this. what will it do. Im not being unreasonable and calling him a nazi im just wondering why we need this, and what will it do? as for who is behind him and whos against i think many people who voted for him don't like him or his policies, however they hated McCain and Palin. I've heard countless people say this. SO im not surprised his approval ratings are falling.

it seems where i live in virginia its about 30% ignorantly hate him, 30% ignorantly love him, 20% think hes better than the opposition, 19% sort of like the opposition now, 1% actually with intelligenc know why they like him or why they hate him.
how to fit in on twc:
    1. constantly complain about etw, 2.talk about the good ol days of m2tw, 3.constantly complain about etw, 4.complain about too few buttons on soldiers in Ntw screenshots, 5.constantly complain about etw, 6.use wikipedia to find historical inaccuracies then pretend you have a degree in history, 7.use wikipedia to debate unquantifiable things such as "who was better saracens or aztecs, napoleon or alexander", 8.post so many times in a thread that it eventually becomes either offtopic or so intricate nobody understands, 9. alway remember that sega and CA are evil, corrupt, idiotic, greedy, whiney, corporations and they used to be kind, pure, intelligent, hardworking people who loved their fans.

I just Googled a FOX news article that mentioned both the Gestapo and "brown shirts", as if they were one and the same.

No need to know the first thing about the Nazi's when you just want to make a Nazi comparisons, I guess.

I'll give you a hint. They're going to be as powerful as the military, and they're going to operate within our borders.

exactly i haven't heard any arguments for the civilian force only how conservatives are stupid or being rediculous. Obama supporters stop attacking the people and give us a good reason for why this should be created

I'm not an Obama supporter, but here goes:

Obama isn't talking about a new program, but about doubling the funding for the "Peace Corps".
The "Peace Corps" was created back in 1961 to improve America's reputation abroad.

    Did you watch the video?

Nothing he said even remotely points to the Peace Corps.

Thank you so much Erik, you are the first person whos actually answered what this will do besides for the nay sayers.

"Truth is, the Republicans are all just a bunch of cowards. There's nothing more telling than people who panic about an issue, without even pondering on the answer to that issue, only to continue notifying the great masses of people, whom they will always fail to convince. It's of use to no bugger. " - Dr. Croccer

atleast they had an argument you instead told them don't worry about it everythings fine Obama is in charge, do you understand that after about 7 posts by obama supporters they still hadn't told what it did. and that a person who doesn't support Obama is the first to tell what it actually done.

crazy Conservative: its the end of the world, Liberal says: Its fine crazy person
Conservative 2: hey look at this genuine problem, Liberal says: Its fine crazy person

Obama supporters tell me why do we need a heavily funded peace corps, aren't there more important things?

You do understand the fallacy that you can't just deny another persons argument and assume your right
you have to prove that your right also.

cherries aren't purple therefore they are green
civilian police force aren't nazis therefore they will be good.

Before this goes further into phail, not one of us knows that much about the brownshirts.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brownshirts

    Those who do are dead.

Here we are today, still trying to figure out what happened and why.
So far as their actions, this is one of the final ones...

Kristallnacht was triggered by the assassination of German diplomat Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Grynszpan, a German-born Polish Jew. In a coordinated attack on Jewish people and their property, 91 Jews were murdered and 25,000 to 30,000 were arrested and deported to concentration camps. 110 synagogues were destroyed and thousands of homes and businesses were ransacked. This was done by the Hitler Youth, Gestapo, SS and SA [1]. Kristallnacht also served as a pretext and a means for the wholesale confiscation of firearms from German Jews
{Kristallnacht} laid bare the repressive nature and widespread anti-Semitism entrenched in Germany, and turned world opinion sharply against the Nazi regime, with some politicians even calling for war.
I don't think that President Obama would ever condone such an action. Ever.

As to the brown shirts, they are evident (once again) of the putrid anti-Semitism that persisted in Germany for so long and which created the Holocaust.

    To anyone witnessing burning synagogues,

the nature of the beast became evident. I truly want to consider that today's Germany is cleansed of such vile false accusations (such as anti-Semitism is) and is on a path to a brighter future, but looking at those pictures and especially the general orders such as...

    -disarmament of the Jews...
One of the significant purposes of Krystallnacht was the explicit disarmament of the German Jews. The SA were under orders to confiscate all Jewish owned firearms. The order was issued "[a]ll Jews are to be disarmed. In the event of resistance they are to be shot immediately."[23]

This pogrom damaged, and in many cases destroyed, about 200 synagogues (constituting nearly all Germany had), many Jewish cemeteries, more than 7,000 Jewish shops, and 29 department stores. Some Jews were beaten to death while others were forced to watch. More than 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and taken to concentration camps; primarily Dachau, Buchenwald, and Sachsenhausen. The treatment of prisoners in the camps was brutal, but most were released during the following three months on condition that they leave Germany.
The number of German Jews killed is uncertain. The number killed in the two-day riot is most often cited as 91. In addition, it is thought that there were hundreds of suicides. Counting deaths in the concentration camps, around 2,000-2,500 deaths were directly or indirectly attributable to the Kristallnacht pogrom. A few non-Jewish Germans, mistaken for Jews, were also killed[citation needed].
The synagogues, some centuries old, were also victims of considerable violence and vandalism, with the tactics the Stormtroops practiced on these and other sacred sites described as “approaching the ghoulish” by the United States Consul in Leipzig. Tombstones were uprooted and graves violated. Fires were lit, and prayer books, scrolls, artwork and philosophy texts were thrown upon them, and precious buildings were either burned or smashed until unrecognisable.
The Germans weren't all the anti-Semites who existed in Europe. I do believe that the Holocaust could have happened elsewhere. However it was in Nazi Germany that the Holocaust actually happened, it was done by Nazi-Germans, people from all walks of life, everyday people who were turned into cold blooded assassins out to dismantle and destroy. I can't in good conscience allow myself to forget that. It isn't up to me to forgive.

What Peace can occur if any and all Germans from this day forth aren't shown, explained and humbled into realizing that it was their ancestors, who did this? Even if they were under a very heinous regime, how can this absolve them of the responsibilities they bore? A whole people demoted into foul beings, “approaching the ghoulish” as quoted by the United States Consul in Leipzig?

Germany rose from the war and was built anew. Failing to understand what happened, though, drives us one step closer to the edge of the pit. I wouldn't want to see Germany or any one country fall, again.
We must never allow such a monstrosity to go away. Therefore we must always remember who did it and why.

    Oh people, get a life!

The essence about the SA, the Freikorps and any such organization was that it was a "private" organization whose only loyalty lay with the leaders of said organization. Thus those organs were outside any state regulations but empowered by their leader who controlled the state. The whole aspect of this is that the SA were a popular paramilitary movement not bound by law or constitution using this to intimidate their enemies through illegal acts as if they were mobsters. The SA and SS were not offcial state organs until after Hitler assumed dictatorial powers!

Any organization instated by the American president will - if your constitution still works halfway through - be loyal to your country aka the president will hold major power because of his title, not his person (it was an important aspect that the German Wehrmacht swore to Adolf Hitler in person, not solely to his title because Adolf Hitler was frightened that someone else could claim his title and then they would have followed that bloke if they liked him more!).

These nazi comparisons are plain dumb.
"Sebaceans once had a god called Djancaz-Bru. Six worlds prayed to her. They built her temples, conquered planets. And yet one day she rose up and destroyed all six worlds. And when the last warrior was dying, he said, 'We gave you everything, why did you destroy us?' And she looked down upon him and she whispered, 'Because I can.' "

Why do we need a domestic civilian security force?
