Looking for books and or info on the Knights Templar

As the title says, i need books and or information on the Knights Templar, prefferably on their military history.

Yes, this is the right place to ask such questions. You'd probably find a whole list if you'd just run a Search on Templars, though ... anyway.

Anyway, back to the Templars. Three excellent books that the OP should check out:

Malcolm Barber, The New Knighthood : A History of the Order of the Temple - Barber is the grand old man of Templar studies and this book is one by which all the rest of measured. Required reading and, thankfully, completely free of the mystical woo woo nonsense that plagues this topic.

Malcolm Barber, The Trial of the Templars - A blow by blow account of the suppression of the Templars and the end of the Order.

Peter Partner, The Knights Templar and Their Myth - Not so much a history of the Templars as a history of how the myths about them arose and evolved. Required reading as an antidote to any of that Masonic nonsense about how Freemasonry had some connection with the Templars as well as for more recent garbage pseudo history about supposed "secrets" of the Order.

I tend to forget the search for thread function. Those books linked, are any of them more oriented on the Templar's military history, if you know?

I don't, unfortunately - I haven't read any of them. The only book I have really read on the Templars is actually on the Knight-Monk orders as a whole (Templars, Hospitallers, Teutons, Spanish Crusading Orders, Knights of Malta (IIRC)) ... Uh, Monks of War, I believe it's called.
