    Default Simple increased blood mod

I've searched for an hour without result, so does anyone here know of or use a simple enhanced blood mod, where blood increases with combat duration. Unfortunately the great crimson tide mod slows my computer too much in large battles with settlements in so that is not an option, unless some bits can be modded out?

    Didn't Burrek do one?

I hunted Burrek's work down during my search, but I think maybe the blood stuff was too old to be held in the forum. I could only get back to 2007.

Blood was very useful in the old days. you could see by the bloodstained state of the men which units were hard pressed.

As mentioned, It's mainly battles with settlements that slow to a halt. Can the building detail be lowered somehow?

Meanwhile I'm playing on shader 1 and it runs so fast I can barely keep up in battles.

I don't know if this helps. I have these blood files which I like very much, I don't even remember where I got them, Blood retexture or some like that. All the way back when I was making my first io-file-first experiments with vanilla 1.0. I've been saving them every time I reinstall Medieval or reformat my hard drive, and I install them over any mod I play.

The blood is pretty discrete, just as if the enemy had sprayed over the soldier from his wounds; not as if the soldier is bleeding to death, or had a bucket of red paint emptied over his head, as is seen in some current mods. It does get heavier over time, but I don't know if to the degree you want. Coincidentally I was working with this picture last night for my sig

The soldier in the center and some of the dead are what can be considered "heavily blooded". The picture isn't very good, the blood actually looks redder, and it can be seen spattered over the sword and other parts.

Excellent, that's the sort of thing. The more blood the better, but that looks fine. Like this old screenshot of mine : http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...65#post1893665

Well, it isn't as bloody as your pictures (and that's why I like it) but here it is.
