Hello, it's me again! I have several questions:
1 / Can I edit the game files to replace one faction by another faction in personal battle?
2 / I always negative events, really always unlucky? (I said if I did not play with no government, finding it not realistic!)

Hiya
1, Yes you can, but how difficult it would be depends on exactly what you mean. Here are tutorials, you'll find a couple about adding a new faction. And here you can ask questions and get answers from some of the best in the community.
2, I think I remember Repman saying that he would reduce the likelyhood of negiative events for 6.2, I don't know how it is done.

A.) (this is easy)
Currently, not all factions are shown when you want to fight a custom battle. Do you mean replace/add one faction in custom battle screen?
B.) (this is hard)
Or take out 1 faction from another mod, and replace an existing faction in DLV?

Good point BW, I think you might be right in your deciphering
So if A) then open descr_sm_factions.txt and find the faction you want to play and put a 'yes' next to 'custom_battle_availability'. Then put a 'no' next to other factions until the faction you want appears in the list of factions available for custom battle (personal battle?).
You can count the factions with a yes and count the slots available to work out how many will have to recieve the 'no' before your faction shows up.
