[HoI2] Rommel is stuck in Casablanca (HOI2)

Somewhere out there in the middle of some seedy Morrocan town market in Casblanca, you'll find Rommel arguing with some incompetent Vichy French Admiral for where are the goddam shipment of supplies.............specially OIL, with 4 goddam Panzer Divisions stuck in Casablanca, the only thing abundant here is sand, blue beduins and mint tea.




To make it more embarrasing, his infantry divisions went ahead of him to Algiers. His staff estimates that at this rate if they try using camels to tow there tanks, they'll get there to Algiers by September..........suuuure. Sounds nice, oh wait, ITS FEBRUARY right now.

Looking back at it now, who the hell's bright idea was it to waste the whole production of the country for moar tanks while the KM is reduced to two mere sub squadrons, hell even Vichy France has more ships in Marsailles alone than the WHOLE KRIEGSMARINE, not to mention the friggin Royal Navy and the French Navy, but then again smile with satisfaction as De Gaulle is holed up in some South American french colonial capital.

Oh look, even Heinz here has a new mission, a strategic spot deemed by our Fuhrer as of utmost importance.










Anyway, how do you send oil to this guy, I pressed the Supply view at the map and obviously it hints red region there. Dammit, curse me for only playing this game for the first time in 3 days.

Or, it is actually part of Petain's trick to help Allies - kill Axis force by not let them have supply!!!

In HoI3 supply problem is even worse; you actually need a large port to supply your troops at all (which reminds me how sweet to kill 30 German divisions in Sweden by occupy all the ports).

CURSE YOU!!111 Either answer my OP now, Rommel is running out of precious supplies, he's getting desperate he'll confiscate all oil of the Morrocans till somebody reminded him they use camels not cars, then there was the fiasco of doing mint tea..........-_-

Tell Vichy that, I am pretty sure it is Vichy supply you now.

Apartly, Vicky has no oil to give you.

The best solution is to pull down to Germany now, if Hitler even allow you to do that.

Control + Click on Algiers, click Strategic Redeploy.

Should work.

That's what I was thinking as well - Britain has probably set up a blockade around Vichy France's coast so there aren't any transports getting through to Casablanca to supply your troops with oil.

I don't really see what's wrong about placing four panzer divisions at the very front to the Soviet Union when you're starting a war with them. And attacking towards Stalingrad isn't a bad idea either because it's a strategic goal that holds victory points that you need.
