Default [Strat Map Wonders Discussion] Tibetan Kingdoms

    Hey Folks,

Asking the help of researchers our team has, and the ones we are about to have.

The Tibetan Kingdoms faction needs some Eye-Catcher buildings for the Strat Map.

Could the Research Department please provide us with pictures and names of Buildings that are:

    -Eye Catchers(Special).
-From the Period of our mod. (around 1171 A.D.)
-Bigger format pictures than 640x480 please.
-There is no limit to the number of pictures, just when it becomes to much of a picture spam fest it might be better to give links to websites
-Spoiler Tags will come in handy
-Another thing which is very important is the location of the wonder. We don't want wonders to be packed in one area, while the rest remains empty, if you could find a map of the faction(country) and mark the wonder's location with a dot, that would be great.

Thanks are extended in advance, but may be repeated after your posts as well

Lhasa comes in mind when I hear tibet. The history of Lhasa (Place Of Gods) goes back to the 7th century. At this time the Jokhang temple was build and also the first Potala palace. The new one is the famous one everybody knows from pictures but this one wasn´t build before the 17th century.
The Jokhang temple however is the most important temple to the tibetians to which everybody should travel at least once in his life.
Following tradition of tibetian buddhism there are three concentric pilgrim routs around the temple.
The first inner route(Nangkhor) lies within the inner court of the temple. The second route (Barkhor) includes a walk around the temple as well as other temples and monasteries. The outer route (Lingkhor) follows the old city limits.

1180, an unprecedented period of peace and prosperity in East Asia, it's technology and wealth is the envy of the world. But soon conflict will engulf the entire region with great consequences and lasting effects for centuries to come, not just for this region, but the entire known world, when one man, one people, unites.....

I've been looking and looking for photos of Tsurphu Monastery, I find alot, but one thing I unclear. The monastery has a golden roof on top, but the other roofs. what colour are they, what shape? Can anyone find me a picture of Tsurphu Monastery from a high/bird view? There are so many mountains near it, I just need a picture that looks down on the monastery

    Research Help please?

Tsurphu-Gompa is actually one of our settlements. I think I mentioned this elsewhere but probably didn't make it clear enough - we don't need wonders for Tibet at all really, as they are mainly the monasteries, and all the significant monasteries = our settlements. Does that make sense. Woudl you mind focusing on Korea or Vietnam where is a tonne of research and reference pics ?
    Cheers
