Can i recruit soldiers in a only region like Naples or Portugal?

I tried it but i can´t reach it... i only could do it in Ireland, Scotland... but if i want recruit in Naples the only option is the spain_group (Peninsula+Southern Italy)

ok. There are two factors which decide if you can recruit a unit: Nation and Region.

The units_to_military_groupings and units_to_exclusive_faction_permissions take care of which nation can recruit a unit. The first only gives the unit to a set of nations, the second refines this selection.

The region is harder. In units_tables you find for each unit a region ID where it can be recruited. "global" for example. These "region ressources" are defined in the region_ressources_tables and in the startpos.esf. So if you want a unit recruitable only in naples, you will first need to define a new region ressource called "naples" in the region_ressources_tables. Then you will need to attach it to the region Naples in the startpos AOR. Find the "region manager" in "world" there, find the naples region in there. Go to Region Ressources, clone a row, change it to "naples", save and done.
