    Hey all,

    I made a post in the SS forums about this, but essentially what im trying to do is transfer the elephant javelin unit from BC 2.0 to SS, since I've got no clue as to how to make my own unit haha. I've been trying to look through the various posts in the mod workshop and I've gotten stuck or the solution isnt actually posted as to how to do something. Anyways, here is what I've done:

    I've added the rajut_elephant_javelin unit in the BC EDU to the SS EDU, changing different values and options to be compatible with SS. I then attempted to transfer the info from the model_db in the BC 2.0 unit_model folder of the levy_in_elephant_javelins, (as it says this is the needed crew for the elephant unit to actually throw the javelins). I then realized that in the model_db info, that the path folders are all directing to a _levy folder, which I found in the BC unit model folder. So I simply copy pasted this folder into my SS unit model folder. I then read that in the model_db, that it cant simply be a blob of text, so I began editing it by making it all look nicer and trying to understand the model_db in one of the posts on the forum. However, after this, im still stuck I thought maybe its still the EDU, and when I looked, it says the mount is "bc elephant" So my question for that, is can I simply switch it to just elephant?

    Anyways below will contain my EDU and the model_db that I've put into the file for the levy_in_elephant_javelin. Any help will be appretiated! Thank you!

    You need to transfer the animation 'BC_Elephant_Javelin' as well or it won't work. It should be in BC's 'data/animations' folder.

    Hey Unanime5, would just copying it work? Wouldn't he need to edit descr_skel and rebuild the anims?

    All that is in the BC animations folder is: pack.dat pack.idx skeleton.dat skeleton.idx and an empty ANIMATIONS folder I used my search for all files that could possibly contain BC_elephant but to no avail.

    Figures. You could try asking a BC team member directly. Beyond that it looks like you're pretty screwed to me. I mean you could try overwriting SS anims and descr_skel with BC's, but then you're faced with the probable scenario of SS's battle_models asking for anims that are not in BC, or have a different name, etc. So you'd have to edit every battle_models entry with the wrong anims and change them for the most appropriate BC anims you can find. Particularly if you're using RRRC, you're pretty screwed by my lazy measure.
