Default The "Institute for Human Continuity"

Many people have probably seen the ads everywhere for http://www.instituteforhumancontinuity.org/ claiming that it is in fact a legitimate organization trying to preserve the human race in the event of an apocalypse.. The truth however is that this is actually a subliminal marketing campaign for a new movie.. It seems that this is causing a large amount of panic as they are trying to pass it off as real.. Am I the only one that thinks that claiming a fictional organization exists for publicity purposes should be illegal?

Here is the article about this "Organization" http://www.associatedcontent.com/art...nuity_ihc.html

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Back then, of course, public reaction was a whole lot worse than it is now.

I hope so. It's a joke. Are people really this stupid?

All I hope is that it's not for that Doomsday 2012 movie. I'm sure we already had that one, and it was called 'The Day After Tomorrow', and it was totally mediocre. Go away Roland Emmerich.
