Default Next move to victory !??

I have a problem in my current Gondor campaign - I am playing on very hard and needed too many rounds (100 rounds left) to destroy Harad, Mordor and some parts of Rhun. Now I have conquered all territories of Mordor, Harad and Rhun and all evil factions are destroyed.
The problem is that all good factions are allied with each other and when I try to attack one of them all declare war against me and its somehow impossible to defend myself against elite armies of High Elves, Silver Elves, Dale, Rohan and Dwarves at the same time. Now Iam in war against the Dwarves, who are really annoying with their Iron Guard, and I need 20 provinces to win the game. Any suggestions?

I would personally just call it a day, and start a new campaign.

all evil has been destroyed, so thats what counts ^^

I dont really see the problem here? If you want to play according to the lore, quit the game since you allready defeated all the evil guys, or try trading for the regions you need for thw victory. If you dont care breaking the lore, kill them all

Maybe you can buy some cities? Or try to attack weak faction like Eriador and send diplomats to get alliance with other faction back

I suppose you are allied with everyone one else too.
If that is the case, follow these steps:

    1) Disband most of your armies. This will save you huge amounts of money each turn.
    2) Train dozens, if not more assassins, and quite a few spies.
    3) Concentrate them on 1 factions. Attack captains first. When your assassins have better subterfuge due to the dead captains, assassinate all generals.
    4) By now, there are few generals remaining. You probably couldn't kill the faction heir & faction leader. Since these are only 2 men, destroy the army in which they are present.
    5) With all the family members gone, the factions turns into rebel settlements.
    6) Capture the rebel settlements one by one. Since these don't belong to any faction, you won't provoke war with other factions.

Damn. All small error I noticed: a failed assassination will cause hostilities.. lame

not always, but u could save the game and load back up if that happens...it rarely happened to me to go to war cuze of a failed assasination...on the other hand, never bothered much with them either, 200/turn, rather have a unit fighting on the fron then an useless assasin, even on max subterfuge he has a hard time killing any general...much for faction leaders..

You just have to be really lucky. An Isengard assassin with 2 subterfuge somehow managed to assassinate Thedoen in my last game. It sucked balls.

in this case you have been "lucky" to assist at this, there is a permanent 5% chance, no matter how sucky the assassing is, so the chance is still there, you just had a terrible bad luck...

in my experience those 5% really mean nothing, since it ha never happened to me that an assasin with 5% would kill

BUT it could be that theoden had other traits that gave him - person security, and that helps to his killing

I actually have a different suggestion since you should probably be earning quite a bit of money:

    - Disband most your army
    - Save 50000-70000
    - Buy a city with that money
    - Rince and repeat

Also, remember to always throw your map information on the deal and if you have not given military access throw that too. Don't offer tribute since the AI doesn't take that seriously (which I think is reasonable)

I won like that with the Dwarves after conquering the number of provinces I needed except Gram who was owned by Eriador.

the problem with this engine is that if you want to demand tribute with the threat that you will attack them, they don't take you serious even if you have half the settlements in the world, while they have 3 or 4, wich is pretty dumb...

Sometimes they say 'please do not attack' and make an offer,or if u dont wanna wait to make money and take their cities use a cheat (anyway u killed the bad guys no need to follow the rules anymore)

You could always get like 20 armies , each of them with trebutchets and place em near Rohan's cities , the size of each army depending on the city garrison And then attack at the same time all of them
